I went to a seminar today done by Tom Sine called "Where is the church headed, and What's response?" It was good to listen to.

After his seminar was over he asked me if I wanted to buy his book for $7.00. I told him I had not cash on me.

After that I got the group from Master's to drop me off at the airport. I had lunch at the airport. Then I was going to my gate. I saw Tom Sine and he is sitting in the same gate as me. I need to get cash for lunch so now I have cash. When he gets off the phone I am going to see if he still has the book on him and I will get it. It is called The New Conspirators.

I get on the plane at 2:05 pm and fly to Chicago at 3:45 I leave Chicago for Toronto. I leave Toronto at 10:00 pm and will be back in Winnipeg at 11:36 pm.

I have had a good time at the conference. I hope I can do it again.

I went in a seminar with Mark Yaconelli called The Dark Night of the Soul: When God is Absent. It was really good. Going to order the cd!

After the general session I walked around the exhibit area for a bit. I picked up two more books.

After that at 1:00 pm I headed over to the speakers room with the students from Master’s. They invited me to join them in a small session they were having with Mark Yaconelli. They had to read one of his books. So they were asking him questions. It was fun to be a part of. He talked about something that came up a few times this week it is this idea of youth leaders (ministries) to be spiritual guides to teenagers. I think it is a good idea I still need to unpack it some more when I get back.

It was good!

After the general session. I head over to book store and got 2 more books.

We stayed for the late night session. We went to the comedy club it had - Dave & Brian, Ron McGehee, Joby Saad & Taylor Mason.

It is great the clocks go back tonight and we do not start till 10 am tomorrow. Get to sleep in! After a long day.

I headed to my next seminar (it was the super seminar). It was Youth Culture 101 with Walt Mueller. Sounded alot like pop culture and media at Master's College. But it was good to listen too.

Went to a seminar called "Building bridges with Gay and Lesbian Youth" with Andrew Marin. He was one of the speakers last night.

It was a good seminar. I will have some stats to share when I get back.
